CH'IH YU-HSI: An ancient Chinese religious dance imitating the legendary battle between HUANG TI, the third emperor of CHINA, also called the Yellow Emperor, and a horned monster. In this dance two opponents, one wearing a horned helmet, fought against each other. Ch'ih Yu-hsi is thought to be an ancient predecessor of the martial arts.
